Platform maintenance and infrastructure support for live trade-show technology
Zentrest is a trade-show intelligence platform that helps exhibitors understand which products interest their visitors. Attendees use a simple scanner to build personalized wish lists, while exhibitors gain access to contact information, engagement data, useful metrics, and stronger leads for post-event follow-up.
We maintained the Zentrest application and supported the platform as its operational needs evolved. This work included diagnosing issues, improving reliability, and making sure the system continued to serve exhibitors and visitors effectively during active trade shows.
Because Zentrest is used in live event environments, stability is especially important. Problems need to be identified and resolved quickly so exhibitors can continue scanning visitors, collecting product interest, and delivering personalized wish lists without disrupting the event experience.
We helped guide architecture decisions for the Zentrest platform, balancing immediate product requirements with long-term maintainability and reliability. Changes were evaluated not only for how they supported new functionality, but also for how they affected performance, deployment, and the system as a whole.
This architectural support gave the platform a stronger technical foundation and helped reduce risk as its features and event requirements continued to grow.
Trade-show activity can create large, concentrated spikes in traffic as many attendees and exhibitors use the platform at the same time. We helped prepare the system for these high-load periods and monitored its performance while live events were underway.
Our system administration work focused on keeping the application responsive and dependable when it mattered most. By planning for event traffic, watching server health, and responding quickly to operational issues, we helped Zentrest provide a consistent experience throughout demanding live events.
We also supported the infrastructure behind Zentrest through ongoing system administration. This included troubleshooting production issues, maintaining the server environment, and helping ensure deployments and platform changes could be introduced safely.
Combining application knowledge with infrastructure support allowed us to address problems across the full system instead of treating the software and its servers as separate concerns.
